Anoka-Hennepin Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) and School Readiness Preschool (SRP) will be offering some exciting events for families this fall. Be sure to check them out!
ECFE starts fall programming in September. Classes, playtimes and other programs are offered to give parenting information, ideas and skills to support their children's growth and development from birth to kindergarten. Children delight in the variety of fun learning activities provided each week.
SRP helps prepare children for kindergarten and become enthusiastic learners. Classes for three, four and five year old children are offered throughout the Anoka-Hennepin District. Openings still remain in some classes. A reduced fee is available based on income and family size.

Oh Baby! open house
For parents and their babies, birth up to nine months. The event is free and will be held at: Coon Rapids Family Place Family Center Mall, 11254 Crooked Lake Blvd. (enter door A), Coon Rapids, on Monday, Aug. 22 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and Tuesday, Aug. 23 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
ECFE two-week sampler classes
For families who have never attended ECFE. The event is free and will be held at: Sorteberg Early Childhood Center, 11400 Magnolia St. N.W., Coon Rapids (starts the week of Aug. 25).

Other open house events
Monday, Sept. 12 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at Sorteberg Early Childhood Center, 11400 Magnolia St. N.W., Coon Rapids (enter door 2) and Riverview Early Childhood Center, 1400 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park (enter door 6).
